Project Description
The 41st Street Drainage Analysis includes two drainage basins that contribute flows that are conveyed across West 41st Street in Sioux Falls at two separate locations.  Review of downstream drainage systems along with studies on file with the City of Sioux Falls proved that the storm sewer system located downstream of 41st Street has been undersized, therefore limiting the release at which runoff can be discharged.   The limitations on what can be released across 41st resulted in the need to provide additional detention storage for Flood Control in comparison to what is required by City Standards.
