Project Description

This project is located in the heart of downtown Sioux Falls.  The project was a full reconstruction of all of the pavement and sidewalks from building to building in the two block area.  Upgrades were made to the sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water main, and electrical and lighting system.  Many new streetscaping features were also added to the street.

The project was a significant upgrade to the main artery of the downtown community and was a grand success for all parties involved.  This project was recognized for Outstanding Engineering Achievement for 2009 from the Southeastern Chapter of the South Dakota Engineering Society.
