Civil Engineering Technician

Stockwell Engineers is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Technician to support our full-service engineering, landscape architecture and land surveying firm in Sioux Falls, SD.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience in using CADD to prepare drawings and other technical documents.


Support engineer and survey staff with the preparation of:

  • Concept/Preliminary plans.
  • Plan and profile; street, sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer.
  • Erosion control plans.
  • Grading plans.
  • Site plans.
  • Cross sections.
  • Details.
  • Topographic surveys.
  • Boundary surveys.
  • Plats.


  • Associates or technical degree in civil engineering technology or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Enthusiastic.
  • Proficient in Microstation a plus.
