B-Y Water District contracted with Stockwell Engineers to design and administer rehabilitation of two existing steel storage reservoirs at B-Y Water’s water treatment facility. The project began by teaming with KLM Engineering to perform a tank condition inspection and develop rehabilitation recommendations.
Stockwell’s design included yard piping improvements to reduce head loss between the two reservoirs and increase the effective storage capacity of the tanks. Project sequencing was critical and essential to ensure the water treatment facility remains online during construction.
