Stockwell Engineers was part of a design team that was selected to provide surveying, civil engineering, and landscape architecture for the construction of the Ryan Building, a 90,000 sf office building expansion for the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society National Campus. The project included the construction of multiple building expansions on campus, new parking lots, new outdoor gathering spaces, walking trails, and landscape.

Starting with the master plan, Stockwell assisted the Owner in re-envisioning the outdoor spaces around campus into a seamless integration of spaces and design elements that provide a looped walking trail system, prayer gardens, amphitheater, and dining patios for employees. Stockwell provided design services for site grading, utilities, pavement, landscaping and irrigation. A new onsite stormwater area highlights native habitat through native plants and trees while filtering and slowing down the stormwater runoff received from the entire site.
